Tathastu is a small lamp with huge message. Tathastu (translation:as you wish) is a Sanskrit word used (mainly in Hindu mythology) by Gods to grant wishes to a devotee.
In a typical representation of receiving a Gods blessings a cone of light emitting from gods hand is shown in mythological paintings.
Tathastu- the lamp, is the manifestation of similar phenomenon in a product form.
as the threat of global warming looms on entire humanity use of solar power is nothing less than God's bliss.
thus by using Tathastu we can all remember the bliss that we daily receive and through wich we can save the earth.

Button is a fun filled way to look at (so-called)zero watt night lamps. Butt-On is a low wattage night lamp with integrated switch. So when you pinch the Butt(on) it turns the light on and can be turned off by pinching it again ;).The lamp is directly plugged on to the socket. The material is soft translucent silicon based rubberfor better(sensuas) tactile feel.
lighTIT
lighTIT is my second exploration to theme "design from the lighter side of the brain", exploring light and fun together. the lighTIT takes a humorous approach to some basic instincts we(mostly e) have and intigrates it with product . the lighTIT is a table top lamp with switch shaped as TIT(Yes!). so one needs to press(gently;)) the tit to turn the light on .
